Siberian Husky History
We are Michael Eads and Susanne Lamkin-Eads and we
share our lives with our beautiful Siberians in Ohio,
U.S.A. In 2007 we celebrate twenty years of exhibiting
the Siberian Husky, being individually involved from
1987 ('Shaika', U.S.A.) and 1988 ('Nordvik', Australia).
In 2000 we married and subsequently formed 'Destiny
Siberians' in the U.S.A. Sue is a member of
the Siberian
Husky Club of America.
Siberian Husky Champions
We have bred 16 Champion Siberians to date in three
countries (U.S.A., Australia and Norway) from limited breeding including multi
Best In Show/Best In Specialty Show/Group winners/placers /B.O.B. winners.
Our Siberian Huskies have been shown with great success in Australia, U.S.A
and Norway. We attend AKC shows in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Indiana and
Kentucky. Our Siberians are only shown in AKC events, and as such are
AKC Champions. We do not compete for easy to obtain titles such as "UKC
Ch." or " Int.
Ch." at shows where there is no quality competition.
Due to the ongoing building work at our new property
we exhibited our Siberians on a very limited basis
in 2006 and 2007 with wonderful results. In 2008 we
will be developing our new property, waiting for the newest
addition to the Eads family, and
hope for one or two litters.
Siberian Husky Puppies
On average we breed every two to three years, first and foremost for ourselves
for our next show hopeful/pet. Our Siberians are not only show dogs but much
loved and valued members of our family. Occasionally we may have Siberian
Husky companion puppies available to approved homes. We
are planning puppies for 2008.

Our
Web Site
The Destiny Siberians web site will be redesigned in 2008. Our client's
web sites are our first priority. In the meantime you will find recent news
and photos below. Please contact
us with any questions or comments.
Our New Property in Somerset,
Ohio
In mid February 2007 we moved into our newly built home
on our property "StoryBook
Farm" in Somerset, Ohio. Our new kennel is currently in phase one of construction,
we are doing all the hard work with help from family and friends. This 40'
x 30' building will have indoor/outdoor runs with a central cooling/heating
system, living room with office and kitchen, a separate full bathroom, grooming/crate
room, bedroom/whelping room and a porch out front. A huge play
area next to our creek will be fenced allowing for lots of free running and
fun! Sue is a web developer specializing in show dog web site design and works
from home allowing our Siberians much attention. Stay tuned for
updates.
